The Entire Process of Operating the Battery Internal Resistance Tester: From Parameter Setting to Report Generation

The operating interface of HZNZ-100 is designed based on a 5-inch color touch screen, with clear processes, but there are details to pay attention to at every step. Organize the complete process and compare it to avoid the pitfalls that most beginners have encountered.

Step 1: Power on and parameter settings

Press and hold the power button to turn on the device. After entering the main interface, select "Parameter Settings" ->"New Battery Parameters" and enter them in sequence:

Computer room number (0001~9999): for easy data archiving and retrieval

Technician ID: Record the operator

Battery Pack Number: Distinguish between different battery packs in the same computer room

Number of batteries: The number of cells to be tested this time (up to 500 cells)

Battery manufacturer: Select the pre-set manufacturer (automatically brings out the reference internal resistance), or choose User customization

Reference internal resistance: Based on the data provided by the battery manufacturer, it affects the capacity evaluation conclusion and cannot be filled in arbitrarily

Testing method: Manual (manual start is required after changing the clamp)/Automatic (automatic recognition takes 1-2 seconds after changing the clamp)

Number of poles: 2/4/6/8 poles

Step 2: Select the testing mode and testing items

Test mode:

Measurement on the pole: only measure the internal resistance of the pole

Additional testing of connecting strips: It is also necessary to measure the resistance of the connecting strips between the poles (loose connections may be found)

Test project:

Simultaneously measure voltage and internal resistance (most commonly used)

Only measure voltage

First measure all voltages, then measure internal resistance (suitable for situations where rapid voltage scanning is required)

Step 3: Wiring

Red positive and black negative, the test clip should be clamped on the pole or connecting strip - absolutely not on the screw cap, as the contact surface of the screw cap is uncertain and may introduce additional resistance, affecting measurement accuracy. When unable to clamp, use the optional test probe.

Step 4: Measure section by section

Click 'Start Test' and switch the clamps for testing in section by section order. Manual mode requires clicking 'Start Test' each time; After changing the clip in automatic mode, the instrument will automatically recognize it within 1-2 seconds. The test can be returned at any time during the process, and the data will be automatically saved. The next time, the unfinished battery pack can be continued through the "continuation test".

Step 5: Data Export and Report Generation

After the test is completed, the data is imported into the computer through an SD card. Using the accompanying upper computer software, an Excel format test report is generated with one click, including detailed data for each battery cell, bar chart comparison, and maintenance recommendations.
